Once more an independent performance benchmark test of a leading international company certified to measure the network quality of telecommunication operators, P3 Communications, has confirmed that Vip network is the best network in Croatia. This renowned company is engaged in the telecommunication sector and certified for measuring the network quality of telecommunication operators. P3 conducts its performance benchmark tests according to the standards of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), a body of the European Union. Back in 2005 P3 confirmed Vip network as the best Croatian network based on their first measurements and analysis of mobile networks. During five years of independent measurements, experts have covered around 15000 km. 42000 voice calls with the total duration of 63000 minutes were carried out, 73 gigabytes of data traffic were used and 175000 web pages were loaded during the testing time.

Vip network's voice call setup performance, voice call setup time and sound quality as well as the download and data transfer speed were tested during the maximum load period. Vip network had half the unsuccessful voice call setups and considerably less dropped calls compared to the competition. This year Vipnet acquired the certificate for the best speech quality as well as the fastest file download performance. Test results have once again proved Vip network to be the best network in Croatia.

The performance benchmark tests were performed in Šibenik, Karlovac, Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Slavonski Brod, Split, Varaždin, Zadar and Zagreb. The tests have also included the connecting roads between the cities. The cities and roads selection criteria were determined by P3 Communications. Cities were selected by size (because of the great population concentration) and the roads by prominence (roads connecting the biggest cities).
