Vipnet's Management Board
Just like the rest of employees, the members of Vipnet’s Management Board are young managers:
- Mladen Pejković, CEO, CTO,
- Bernd Schmutterer, CFO,
- Mario Cvitković, CMO.
joined Vipnet team in 1999, taking over the position of Radio Network Optimization Manager. A year later he became the Head of Radio Frequency Engineering Department with the task of planning and optimizing the GSM network. In 2002 he was appointed Project Manager of UMTS implementation and commercial launch.
Mladen became Member of the Management Board and Vipnet CTO in 2003, and chairs mobilkom austria group Technology Board since 2006, taking over the responsibility of strategic planning, supporting group expansion and technology integration of new mobilkom austria group members.
In 2007, Mladen was appointed CEO of the newly founded Vip Operator, member of mobilkom austria group in the Republic of Macedonia. Under his leadership Vip operator started with commercial operations six months after obtaining the license. Following his return from Macedonia, Mladen became Vipnet CEO on January 1, 2008.
He was born in Zagreb in 1969, and graduated at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Zagreb University. Before joining Vipnet, he had worked at HPT.

joined Vipnet from mobilkom austria where he begun his career in 1999 in Controlling as junior controller area controlling in marketing and sales. From July 2003 until September 2005 he is head of Group Companies Controlling from where he continued his career in Mobiltel, Bulgaria as Financial Controlling Director. In July 2007 he came back to Vienna and mobilkom austria as Deputy Head of Group Purchasing. He chaired the Strategy Committee for Purchasing in the mobilkom austria group. From 1st of August he is member of the Vipnet Managament Board and CFO.
Bernd Schmutterer was born in 1970 in Vienna where he finished University of Economics and Business Administration Vienna and University of Sports science/Sports management, Vienna. He is "Certified international controller" according to OECI standards.

started his career working for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Sarajevo and held various functions with International Crisis Group – ICG and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mario also formed the key startup team of Vipnet, joining in 1999 as Logistics and Operations Manager. In 2003 he was appointed to the position of the Sales Director in Vipnet.
He has been leading the marketing team in Vip operator (Macedonia) as CMO since June 2007. Mario studied electrical engineering at University of Sarajevo and is a graduate of University of Zagreb and is attending MBA studies at Edinburgh Business School. He joined Vipnet team again in September 2011 as CMO.
