Roaming charges
Calls, SMS and MMS messages are charged according to Vodafone World's price list. The charges depends on whether the call is incoming (i.e. someone is calling you) or outgoing (i.e. you are calling someone).
For incoming calls, both you and the caller pay a share in the call
The caller pays for the part of the call from his phone to Vip’s network in Croatia. The rate is the same national rate they always pay for calling a Vip number.
You have to pay the cost of forwarding the call from Vip’s network in Croatia to the foreign country you are in according to Vodafone World’s price list.
Note: You can choose to activate the Call Barring service for incoming calls when you are abroad. This will prevent you from having to pay international call charges.
Outgoing calls
If you make outgoing calls while abroad, the roaming calls are charged in accordance with Vodafone World’s price list.
You may receive the roaming call charges later, since Vipnet has to receive the data from its roaming partners before charging them to your account.
SMS
- While in roaming, your incoming SMS messages are free of charge.
- Outgoing SMS messages are charged according to Vodafone World’s price list.

MMS
- While roaming, your incoming MMS messages received via the GPRS or UMTS infrastructure of the roaming partner are free of charge.
- Outgoing MMS messages are charged according to Vodafone World’s price list.
Voice mail
While roaming, the SMS notification of incoming messages and the notification by call from Voice Mail is charged according to price list for incoming calls.
Call Forwarding
If you have diverted all your incoming calls to your Voice Mail, and you are in roaming, these calls will not be charged.
When you are not answering, when you are unavailable or busy, and your calls are diverted to your Voice Mail, you are also charged for those calls:
- as an incoming roaming call to your mobile phone according to price list for incoming calls,
- as an outgoing roaming call diverted from your mobile phone to your Voice Mail, according to price list for outgoing calls.
Example: When you are abroad for 7 days and received 2 redirected calls to the Vip secretary per day, the cost of such calls is as follows: in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the network BH Telecom HRK 97.03, while in Slovenia in the network Si.mobil and in Austria in the network A1TA amounts to HRK 196.62. Rates include VAT.
