SMS
With SMS (SMS - Short Message Service) you can type a message on the keypad of your phone and send it to another GSM mobile user. The message will appear on the display of that phone. Similarly, messages can also be sent to you. Each message may be up to 160 characters long.
SMS is a unique way to keep in touch when you cannot make or receive voice calls, such as in cases when you are in a restaurant or in a meeting, or when a phone call would be inappropriate. Discreet and confidential, they allow you to contact other GSM users without fear of interrupting them - and without fear of being dragged into a lengthy conversation. Simply key in your message, address it to another GSM user, and send it. It could not be any easier.
SMS is available to all Vip customers, but the SMS feature has to be supported by your mobile phone. Please read the SMS section of your phone user manual for instruction on writing, sending, receiving and deleting short messages.
