Mobile surf browser
The Mobile Surf browser is located on the 4th tab of Vodafone live! mobile portal and enables an optimized display of websites on almost all mobile phones. All Vip customers can benefit from the best Internet experience on their own mobile phones thanks to the Mobile Surf browser, which adjusts all websites to the highest quality of display. The size of photos and text will be adjusted so as to reduce the total data transfer volume, while making websites clearer and faster to load. As a consequence, your mobile phone battery life will be extended. The Google search engine is also integrated into the Mobile Surf browser to provide for easier web search, as well as your personal favorites, the most visited sites and the Top 10 most visited sites via the Mobile Surf browser.
Once saved while using the Mobile Surf browser, the most visited sites will remain stored even if you change your mobile phone.
When you surf via the Mobile Surf browser, you leave the Vodafone live! mobile portal, and the data transfer is charged according to the applicable tariff for data services. To surf the Internet via a mobile phone at the most affordable price, we recommend that you activate one of the Mobile Surf Data Packages.
Activation
How to monitor data transfer volumes?
The remaining transfer volume in the Mobile Surf Data Package can be checked by sending an SMS message containing the keyword '?' to 792.
SMS messages sent to 792 will be charged according to the rates of the tariff model used by the user.
It is possible to activate a Mobile surf data package:
- by sending an SMS message containing the keyword to the toll-free number 792
- by calling the Customer Service
- in any Vip sales outlets.
To deactivate a Mobile Surf data package, send an SMS message containing the keyword '-SURF‘ to the toll-free number 792.
It is possible to activate several Mobile Surf Data Packages (20 at most) within a 30-day period, and the amount of the newly activated data package will be added to the balance of the previously activated package(s). The new Mobile surf data package is automatically activated upon the expiry of the 30-day period.
Remaining transfer volume in the Mobile Surf Data Package
You can find out how much transfer volume you have left in your Mobile Surf Data Package by sending an SMS containing the keyword '?' to the number 792.
