Vip network as the best quality network in Croatia
The fastest network for data transfer
P3 Solutions has analyzed the Vip network for calls from the Vip network to fixed networks and other mobile networks in Croatia by measuring the parameters while customers were mobile (driving) and in a fixed place. The measurements have also shown that the Vip network is the fastest for data transfer of all networks in Croatia in terms of time required for the customer to surf the Internet or transfer data while using the usual applications.
Analysis in 10 cities
P3 Solutions performed measurements and the analysis of the mobile networks and services in Croatia in the 10 major Croatian cities: Karlovac, Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Slavonski Brod, Split, Varaždin, Zadar, Zagreb and Sesvete (East Zagreb). The criterion for the selection of these cities was defined by P3 Solutions in view of the major concentration of the population in them.
The quality of the voice service of the Vip network was evaluated according to the parameters defined under ETSI standards: service availability (when the call is initiated - in how many cases is the call actually established, i.e. “passes”), successful call termination (termination of the call by decision of the customer and not as a result of a network failure) and call set-up time (time from the instant of the confirmation of the call to the instant when one hears the ringtone of the called number).
The quality of the data transfer (packet connection) service was also measured according to ETSI standards: service availability (packet connection set-up), download speed for customer content (http and ftp), successful completion of download (termination of the packet connection by decision of the customer and not as a result of a network failure) and packet connection set-up time.
The results of the survey confirmed thereby that in the VIP network, the customer is provided with a high quality voice and data transfer, as well as different advanced services at a 3G data transfer speed for 90 percent of the population in Croatia.
