              Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP)

              CLIP - Calling Line Identification Presentation enables the phone number of the person calling you to be displayed on the screen of your mobile phone.
              Service is initially activated for all Vip subscribers.

              Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR)

              If you permanently wish not to disclose your telephone number on the display of other (GSM or fixed) handsets, you may use this service (CLIR - permanent). Your telephone number is always displayed when you send an SMS.

              If you wish not to have telephone number disclosed on the display of other handsets of the number you are calling (GSM or fixed), you may use this service (CLIR - Calling Line Identification Restriction) that is available on your mobile phone menu. The activation and deactivation of this service depends on the type of mobile phone. Some handsets have the possibility to activate this service via the menu on the mobile phone, whereby your number is not displayed during your next calls, up to the moment of the deactivation via the menu on your mobile phone. Some other types of mobile phones support the activation of CLIR via the menu on the mobile phone only up to the point of next phone call. In such cases, it is necessary to activate this service via the menu each time you wish to make a phone call.

              Call Waiting

              The Call Waiting service informs you that someone else is trying to get through to you while you are engaged in a call (you will hear a tone). You can then choose to:

              • reject the waiting call without disturbing the existing call
              • end the first call and answer the waiting call by pressing 1 OK
              • put the first call on hold and take the waiting call by pressing 2 OK

              To activate, deactivate or check the current status of the Call Waiting service you can use the mobile phone menu or the following short codes:

              • activation *43#OK
              • deactivation #43#OK
              • status check *#43#OK

              Call Forwarding

              It is possible to forward incoming calls from your mobile phone to another phone number, the so called divert number. Incoming calls can be forwarded to any other telephone number regardless of the type of network (mobile or fixed). Forwarding applies to voice calls, data calls, as well as fax calls. Call forwarding is provided to all Vip subscribers. Forwarding of incoming calls to another phone number is charged at the same rate as calling the specified divert number from your mobile phone.

              Five Call Forwarding options are available:

              Forward of all incoming calls
              **21*divert number*VP#OK

              Forward if not reachable
              **61*divert number*VP#OK

              Forward if no reply
              **62*divert number*VP#OK

              Forward if busy
              **67*divert number*VP#OK

              Forward if not reachable, no reply or busy
              **004*divert number*VP#OK

              VP- Call Type Code
              Forwarding of incoming voice calls:11
              Forwarding of incoming data calls:20
              Forwarding of incoming fax calls: 13

              The major benefit of the Call Forwarding feature for most users is to divert calls to Vip voicemail (VMS) so that no calls are missed. For your convenience, when you are not reachable (out of the coverage area or if the mobile phone is turned off), when you are busy (engaged in a call) and when you do not want to take calls (no reply), all incoming calls to your mobile phone will be forwarded to Vip voicemail. We recommend leaving these diverts as such.

              Call Barring

              It enables you to restrict certain types of calls being made with your Vip SIM Card (should only be used by experienced users). Five Call Barring possibilities are available.

              There are two ways to set up Call Barring:

              1. Via a menu specific to your phone: this is by far the easiest way, but the exact procedure differs from one phone to another. Please consult your phone manual.

              2. By keying in a series of characters and special GSM codes, which will work on all GSM mobile phones:

              Call Barring Activation Deactivation Status Check
              All outgoing calls * 33 * password # OK # 33 * password # OK * # 33 # OK
              All incoming calls * 35 * password # OK # 35 * password # OK * # 35 # OK
              All outgoing international calls * 331 * password # OK # 331 * password # OK * # 331 # OK
              All outgoing international calls except to Croatia * 332 * password # OK # 332 * password # OK * # 332 # OK
              All incoming calls when roaming abroad * 351 * password # OK # 351 * password # OK * # 351 # OK

              Call Barring Password

              When you first receive your Vip SIM Card, your Call Barring Password is set to "0000". To change it to another number, key in the following:

              * * 03 * 3 3 0 * Old password * New password * OK

              NOTE: Call Forwarding and Call Barring services are mutually excluded. If you want to set up Call Barring you need to cancel all Call Forwarding. Likewise, if you want to divert calls, you need to switch off Call Barring.

              Call Hold

              Call Hold allows you to put the person you are talking to on hold, dial someone else's number and once the second person is connected switch back and forth between the two calls. The buttons you need to press to hold the call depend on your phone:

              • to put a call on hold press 2 OK
              • to return to the call on hold press 2 OK
              • to put a call on hold and set up a second call press 2 OK
              • to switch between two calls press 2 OK
              • to disconnect the call on hold and remain on the current call press

              Conference Call

              Conference Call

              This service enables you to hold a phone conference with up to five other people. The ability to talk to more than one person at a time is a valuable and time-saving benefit of Vip. With Conference Call it is possible to join up to five other people together in a single conversation.

              A few simple keystrokes are all that is required to set up a conference call which provides clear two-way speech with all the members of the conference without frustrating pauses between people speaking. This function has to be supported by your mobile phone.
              If you initiate a Conference Call by joining two separate calls together, you control it. You can add incoming or outgoing calls by placing the conference call on hold and joining them in the same way; you can remove callers, and you can end the conference simply by hanging up. You can even 'step out' from the conversation whenever you like to have a private conversation with another caller whilst the conference continues.

              For more information, please refer to your mobile phone manual.

              Who Called

              Who Called

              Who Called is a new service on Vip's offer that makes it possible for you to receive a missed call notification by SMS.

              What are the advantages of the Who Called service?

              The Who Called notification will provide you with information about calls missed while your mobile phone was switched off or out of network coverage.
              If your Vip voicemail is not activated or the caller does not leave a message on your Vip voicemail, the Who Called service will alert you to the missed calls.
              This missed call alert service is also available while roaming abroad.

              How to access the Who Called service?

              The Who Called service is free and is activated for all Vip users.
              To deactivate the Who Called service free of charge, send an SMS message containing the keyword -TKO to 761 or call the Customer Service at 091 77 00 and ask for the deactivation of the service.

              You want to reactivate the Who Called service? Just send an SMS message containing the keyword +TKO to 761 or call the Customer Service at 091 77 00.

              Each Who Called SMS message contains up to 4 numbers from which calls were missed. An SMS message with a list of missed calls will appear on you mobile phone display as soon as you switch it on and will include of the following details:

              • caller’s phone number;
              • number of calls made from that number (in brackets);
              • time of last call from that number;
              • date of last call from that number.

              If you missed more than 4 calls, the Who Called service will send you more than one SMS message. The maximum number of missed calls the Who Called service will alert you to is 20. The Who Called service provides information about the calls missed in the past seven days.

              Diverting calls to Who Called service

              You can select the situations in which you want to be notified about missed calls (not answering, line busy, user unreachable or unconditional divert). To change the default diverts set for the cases in which you are not available (no signal, phone switched off), you can select Call Divert from your phone’s menu for the selected situations at 091 7002.
