Data transfer
In the price of a monthly fee, the tariff models for Homebox and data transfers include a particular amount of free-of-charge data transfers within the Vip mobile network.
Also, the amount of data transferred during a single invoicing period and exceeding the free amount of data included in the monthly fee is charged according to the current pricelist for additional transmitted data, as defined for each data transfer tariff model.
Data transfer is charged solely in accordance with data usage, the amount of data transmitted (MB), and is not based on the transfer duration.
The amount of data transferred may vary according to its content, and is categorised according to size as follows:
- one mp3 song: approx. 5 MB
- one digital photograph at 5Mpx resolution in jpg format: approx. 1 MB
- an average web page found on a typical blog: approx. 0.3 MB
- a five-minute Youtube film: approx. 14 MB
- five minutes of driving using a Garmin GPS navigator: approx. 1 MB
- a Windows SP2 to SP3 update: approx. 300 MB
The quantity of transferred data also includes data received from the internet, as well as data sent from your computer to the internet.
Data transmission included in the monthly fee may be used only as domestic traffic in the Vip mobile network. The total data transmitted in foreign countries using a roaming network is charged according to the current pricelist for roaming data transmission.
